The 7th Annual Conference for the Organisation for Oncology and Translational Research was successfully held in Hong Kong on the 13th and 14th of May 2011 at the Mira Hotel.
The theme of the conference was on “Future in Oncology: What’s in it for us?” Renowned experts coming from different countries have assembled and in-depth discussed over some hot topics including novel cancer biomarkers, cancer therapeutics as well as caner preventions.
Tumor board was a new element of the conference this year, in which experts from different specialties shared their views on managing particular breast cancer and colorectal cancer cases. The rewarding programme has reinforced us with a strong belief of translating scientific knowledge into clinical practice – the focus of future cancer research.
